Simisi Odu (sim-SEE O-du)
Founder, Designer, Analyzer Synthesizer
Simisi Odu is the Founder of Kids Need / Kids Need Desks and also doubles as its strategist, designer and fabricator. When not working for the organization you can catch him working as an Architectural Deisgner for a compact, local firm. He is happiest spending time with his wife, Adri, and their two kids, Enzo and Menina.
“I spontaneously started this one day, wanting to give something to my community during a difficult time and thinking how I could do that. The next thing I knew I was randomly reaching out to parents in need.”
Simisi has a background in the Behaviorial Sciences with previous experience in the field.
Initially pursued a career in medicine, played rugby in college, enjoys bike riding and is a self-described stand-up comic aficionado.
